Investigating the Work-related Accidents in Iran: Analyzing and Comparing the Factors Associated With the Duration of Absence From Work

Objectives: Work-related accidents as one of the most prominent indicators safety and health in industry play an undeniable role developing improving quality industrial management. Therefore, their accurate analysis on a large scale is essential. To provide controlling solutions, we aimed to investigate causes occupational Iran for 10 years (2007-2017). Methods: At first, reports 10-year work-related were taken from Social Security Organization, then classified, entered into SPSS software, version 18.0. Analyses performed two stages. Descriptive analyses initially multivariate Cox regression was implemented determine significance effects identified factors. Results: The findings showed that falls slips (18.3%) physical strikes (14.6%) common accidents, carelessness (61.9%) equipment density (21.1%) had strongest impact accidents.
